I'm a fan of mystery/detective novels and had Henry Chang on my list of authors I wanted to read for some time.

I came across Lucky - the fifth book in the series about Detective Jack Yu. I first heard about Henry Chang when he published The Year of the Dog, but strangely his Lucky haven't taken root in my local library/5.

Lucky by Alice Sebold is a haunting memoir with “sticking power”. I feel “lucky”—or I should say honored —to have read it. I thought I had a fair understanding of how rape affects victims, but after reading this book, I feel humbled by how little I really knew/5(K). As such, Lucky was promoted to the rank of Detective Lieutenant, and senior officer in a newly founded "Toon Division", partnered with Bonkers D.

Bobcat and several other Toon objects. With Bonkers having lost most of his assets upon being let go from the Hollywood Studios, Lucky offered him a place at his house, with the rest of the Piquel family. Miss Retzel--Mo's teacher and Detective Joe Starr's girlfriend.

Alice's father is a headstrong, independent man who is one of Alice's main challengers throughout the book. He believes that she had the power to stop.

The book Lucky Lottery is a very good book. This book is about 3 children named Dink, Josh, and Roth Rose and they have won the lottery but not yet they have found out that the lottery ticket is stolen but luckily they catch the crook, and this time it is a woman, and she gets put to justice.

This book changed my prospective of stealers/5(85). Best Detective Books. Here are the best detective books by the experts: 1) Detective by Arthur Hailey.
